I designed this modern apartment which is located in one of the most exclusive areas of London: City of Westminster. Nearby are Buckingham Palace, the Ritz and famous auction houses notably Christie’s. I couldn’t have dreamt for a better inspiration for my design process. Firstly, architectural beauty, symmetry and grand cultural history of the neighbourhood was the starting point. That’s why I introduced balanced proportions and symmetry to the interior design of this modern London apartment. The vibrant city nightlife also played a big part in the creative process.
It wouldn’t be me if I didn’t stick to a minimal style – which both my clients and I love. So, I introduced a lot of contrast between light and dark colours. In addition, the LED mood lighting which is reflected in the dark full height mirrors is inspired by the stunning street lights of London. It’s certainly the essence of this modern London apartment.

What is This Modern London Apartment Focused On?
An uncluttered, balanced space was important for the client. So naturally I didn’t overload the space. For example, I focused the design of this London apartment on statement elements such as; modern large mirrors and bright surfaces with light as decoration.
In short, it’s one of the few truly modern apartments in the area.
Modern minimal apartments are not yet common in central London, however, more and more clients appreciate this aesthetic. As we face constant digital distractions, minimal style in interior design is becoming more popular.
